Six people have been sent to hospital after five cars crashed in Ann Arundel County, police said.
Maryland State Police tweeted at about 5 p.m. that five cars had crashed in U.S. 50 east, just before Exit 32.
All lanes were closed for about two hours, but then reopened. The severity of the injuries is unclear.
