Police said Sunday they have arrested a man accused of smashing the windows of several cars on Lake Street in San Francisco on Friday.
Police identified the suspect as 35-year-old Charles Shelton of San Francisco. He now faces vandalism charges.
Witnesses said they saw a man smashing windows with a hammer Friday afternoon.
Most of the damage was on the north side of Lake Street between 17th and 18th avenues.
