Hello everyone, My name is Jennifer and I am a teacher in Brattleboro, Vermont. I am raising funds for two young Afghan women I know who are in the process of starting their lives here in Southern Vermont. They left Afghanistan in 2021 with only what they carried in their small backpacks when they realized their lives were in danger.
Now in Vermont, they are looking to further their education and balance a busy work schedule.
This car down payment fundraiser is all about helping them get to where they need to be! Both have just completed a driver’s education program and are about to get their Vermont driver’s licenses.
